In our history we mention Vascodagama as a great personality who was the first European to reach in India. He belonged to Portugal but there are stories popular only about his achievements and bravery but there isn't any much popular stories about his bad doings. When he was posted as a navigator he did many bad things like killing innocent people, raiding places and looting, etc were his crimes and the natives were helpless to his cruelty but we can't find much about his bad history either so he is still portrayed as a Great Personality.Visit this site for a detailed information
